Psychedelics are a Powerful Tool
Psychedelics have been with humanity for as long as we have been human. It is only in the last several hundred years that we have not had access to these powerful substances for psychospiritual healing. Today the world of psychedelic therapy is opening doors that have been closed for the last several decades. New research shows that psychedelics provide greater healing than traditional SSRIs (antidepressants) and are likely to change how we understand the brain's relationship to healing, pain (both physical and psychological), and our connections to ourselves, our families, our communities, and the Earth itself.
Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy
Our certified psychedelic therapists are trained in both the psychodynamic therapy skills and the multiple therapeutic protocols for each psychedelic substance. At this time only Ketamine Assisted Psychotherapy (KAP) is legal in the United States. There are options for international retreats that we refer clients to for those who want a different experience. However, we have found that ketamine is actually the most gentle of all the psychedelics, and is the most effective first step into the psychedelic experience. It is also uniquely relevant for working with creative professionals due to its anti-depressant effects and its role as a Glutamate agonist.
Unprecedented Healing
We are lucky enough to be on the cutting edge of psychedelic renaissance. Our certified therapists are among the first in the country to be trained in psychedelic therapy. In addition, we are part of several research and training teams helping to make sure that psychedelic therapies are safe, effective, and available to the people who need them the most. As of mid 2024 the schedule for Cannabis is changing at the federal level. Both psilocybin and MDMA have been awarded breakthrough status with the FDA, as a result, it is likely that these two psychedelics will be available for therapeutic use in the next 6-12 months.
